Bred in the USA, and released in 1972, Cascade has become one of the most widely used hop varieties for its dual purpose, aroma and bittering properties. Low in alpha acids and high in essential oils, with spicy and citrus flavor notes, this hop is popularly used in American Pale Ale, Ale and Lager beers
